All of the Lights: The Philmore
A luminescent photo story told in four parts: The Philmore on Broadway
Established over 90 year ago on Fort Wayne’s Broadway Avenue, the building was originally dubbed: The Broadway Theatre.
Opened in 1923, elements of the Jazz Age and Roaring Twenties can be seen in the building’s Art Deco architecture, as well as the vibrant charm still emanating from this historic building.
Eventually, the doors were permanently closed in 1985 … until a restoration and renovation as a restaurant in 1998.
After another refresh, this classic downtown gem was reborn once again as an entertainment and event venue, and in 2010 The Philmore on Broadway began hosting “world-class musical talent and stunning private events.”
