Fort Wayne Heart of Gold Carnival 2018
An event by the American Heart Association, May 11 at the Grand Wayne Convention Center
An unforgettable evening of entertainment and hope at the 2018 Fort Wayne Heart of Gold Gala.
Each year, community members, medical professionals and corporate leaders come together to celebrate the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association. The Fort Wayne Heart of Gold Gala is a celebration of our mission, donors, and volunteers and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. This year's Gala featured one local man, Sam Keirns', story of his experience with heart disease.
Emceed by Alyssa Ivanson, the "Carvinale"-themed night was one of glitz, glamour and philanthropy! From the gourmet dinner to the silent auction, much fun was had by all.
For years, the Gala (Heart Ball) has helped to advance the mission of the American Heart Association, a mission that has impacted the lives of thousands of men, women and children in Northeast Indiana. Money raised through the American Heart Association Heart Ball campaign allows for the funding of life-saving research and prevention programs in our community and across the country.
