The 2012 Jeep Jam raised over $20,000 dollars for the DAV of Allen County. Once again ODZ held its annual activities withmany fun activities for the kids too. The Red Cross blood mobile made an appearance one again this year and collected blood in order to save more Fort Wayne lives. In addition, this year the Jeep Jam had a featured corn hole tournament raising additional monies for the DAV.
As always, most generously, the Kessie family supports the ODZ Jeep Jam by providing the incredible Jeep playground on their private land.
Jeep Jam donations make life easier for the men and women that gave their time and service to our country to protect our rights and freedoms. It is only right and fair that we give back to those who give their lives to give so much to each of us every single day.
When a disabled veteran needs help with filing for benefits, transportation or any assistance until their claims pass the governments’ approval desk in deciding how much disability the Veteran will receive, DAV goes to bat in support of the Veteran. This is not a government funded organization.
Craig W Ruskaup, (Chrysler-Jeep Dodge Ram Sales Manager) said, “We are proud of this event. It's the largest in Indiana. We raise more money in one day for Disabled Veterans than anyone in the state.”
We thank you all for coming out to participate in this year's Jeep Jam and we look forward to seeing you all for next year's big event!
